And so it begins!

Well here we are, Day 1 of Insanity at SCYNEXIS!  I'm excited and scared to really dig deep and get down to business.  Even though I have done several of the workouts over the past month, I'm nervous about putting them all together in succession for 60 days!  It will be a challenge, but one I'm ready to make!  I can't wait to see who comes out to join me for the ride!

Monday habits

I did the Max Plyo Circuit workout this morning.  It really felt like it should have been more than 750 calories.  It probably would have been if I hadn't spent so much time just standing there panting.  But it's a great way to start the week.  Keep up the good habits!

Insanity works

Doing the Insanity workout is making a difference.  I ran 5K today in 23:26, which is an average pace of 7:31 mi/min.  Check it out here.  That is a little better than the last 5K I ran (23:51, 7:39).  But my legs did not feel the race at all.  They are used to more strenuous exercise every morning.

A new beginning

I did the Max Circuit Interval routine this morning.  Everything is different, even the warmup.  There is a new group of people in the DVD, and Tanya isn't one of them.  The session was twice as long, about 1hr, but I also burned twice the calories, about 850.  What a great morning.

Monday workout

I worked out alone this morning. Scheduling conflicts always come up with groups of people. But it was weird to be jumping around the bio-free space by myself early in the morning.
